About Julie...

Julie is a registered Educational and Developmental Psychologist (AHPRA) with a Bachelor of Psychology (Hons.) from Griffith University and a Masters of Psychology (Educational and Developmental) from QUT. 

 

As an Educational and Developmental Psychologist, Julie takes a holistic, systemic and strengths-based psychological approach. Operating from a humanistic perspective Julie provides unconditional positive regard in a compassionate, understanding, and empathic way.

 

Julie truly cares about her clients well-being guaranteeing best practice therapy and psychological assessments.

I offer both child and adult psychological assessments:

 

Adult Psychological Assessments:

 

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and diagnosis

  • ADHD assessments and diagnosis

  • Cognitive (IQ) assessments

 

Child Psychological Assessments:

 

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and diagnosis

  • ADHD assessments and diagnosis

  • Cognitive (IQ) assessments (including giftedness)

  • Learning and psychoeducational assessments (including Dyslexia and other learning difficulties)

  • Functional assessments

  • School readiness assessments

 

I offer therapy to school-aged children and adolescents in the following areas:

 

  • Anxiety (generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, specific phobias, social phobias, panic disorder)

  • Depression

  • Loss and Grief

  • School-based challenges (such as bullying or friendship issues) 

  • Suicide Ideation and NSSI (Non-suicidal self-injury)

Receiving a Medicare rebate...

 

You may receive a Medicare rebate of $92.20 per session with a Registered Psychologist if you have a Mental Health Care plan from your GP. 

 

My days and hours:

  • Friday 9am to 8pm

  • Saturday 9am to 5pm
